Billet Families Needed for Grads.

Host families are needed to billet players of the Cumberland Grads Junior "A" Hockey Club. The Grads have an urgent need for families with spare room in their homes to billet a player for the upcoming season. The players have strict rules to follow while staying with their billet familes and are generally either in school or at the rink - which is five days per week. As well, keep in mind that the Grads compensates the family on a weekly basis for billeting the player. Please call the Grads hockey office at 613-835-4297 for further details.

Overview of Our Programs

We provide minor hockey programs for girls and boys ages 5-20 years old.

House League - Recreational Non-Body Contact:

We offer non-body contact recreational hockey in our House League association, the CMHA. Programs are offered for ages from IP to Juvenile (5 to 20yrs). For the CMHA House League, every registered player gets assigned to a team after on-ice evaluations in September. Fair ice time policies are applied. No try-outs are necessary for CMHA House League.

Competitive Body Contact:

Our competitive hockey program with body checking is offered by our Cumberland Junior Grads Hockey Club for ages Atom to Midget. Players living in the Cumberland District that wish to play AAA hockey, would play for the Zone 5 Eastern Ontario Wild AAA. Only the Bantam and Midget ages are offered. The Wild AAA teams are made up of players from across Eastern Ontario.

Note that for both Junior Grads and the Wild AAA, players must 'try-out' for a position on the team during August and September. If a player is cut from the Wild AAA, they will move down to Junior Grads. If a player is cut from Junior Grads, they will move to House League.
